Welcome
This site is a source of all official and rumored, existing and upcoming release dates for high definition video releases.
I usually update the release schedules daily, even if this front page isn't updated. There is intentional focus on international releases not yet available in the USA from an English speaking perspective, including some region code information. Alongside Blu-ray, the dominant hidef consumer standard, a list of all the HD DVD and D-Theater releases will be kept as an archival record. In the future, if there is an international standard for hidef download releases, they will also be included.
Make sure to let me know of any corrections, omissions, new information or suggestions on how these lists can be improved. Industry insider information is welcome and anonymity ensured.

Its always been the intention to keep an archive here of all hidef releases. With the last HD-DVD shipped from Germany this past October, the HD-DVD lists became archives of the format. Ironically there are a few titles still not released onto Blu-ray. Before Blu-ray and HD-DVD there was another HD format called D-Theater on D-VHS tapes. Whilst it has been long dead, there are even releases on that format which have still not been released on Blu-ray. To archive this old and honorable format, a D-Theater archive has been added to the links on the left. If it is incomplete or incorrect please let me know.

Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa is due Feb 6, Transporter 3 is due Mar 19, The Last Word (2008) due Apr 7. From a couple of rumor sources the date of May 5 has been given for the blu-ray release of the first six Star Trek films plus the first season of the original Star Trek series. In my opinion it does seem a little close to the release of new film, and includes Star Trek: The Motion Picture, which was apparently not to be released in this round due to the need for new FX. Time will tell how accurate this is, as my guess would have been a few weeks before this.
